Koe no Katachi, often known as Silent Voice, is my favorite movie because of its mesmerizing art style and also it contains several lessons that may educate us. The genre of this movie are romance, teen and drama.
The main character in this movie is Shoko Nishimiya, a deaf child, has just been relocated to a new elementary school in this movie. Her peers, on the other hand, are cruel to her due to her disability. This film illustrated how society treats disabled individuals differently, as well as the importance of educating children at an early age, as it will effect them later in life.
Shoko Nishimiya is my favorite character in the movie. Her character has the type of characteristics that I aspire to have. She is a sweet, patient, and lovely person. I admire how she keeps everything to herself, despite the fact that she is hurting on the inside. Furthermore, the truth that she overcame all of that bullying is really amazing and makes me want to become a strong person like her.
At first, Shoko is treated very well at her new school when she transferred there. Most of the classmates make an effort to make her feel at ease. The other classmates on the other hand, become tired of Shoko and her notebook, which she uses to communicate with others. Shouya plans to bully a girl in his class by copying her speaking style after noticing how agitated she was by Shoko. Despite this, the majority of the classmates in her class tend to ignore Shoko, letting her alone.
Soon, Shouya was picked as the perpetrator of the bullying against Shoko, and he earned the reputation as a bully, becoming an outcast. Shouya's classmate makes a disparaging remark about him, and he gets lonely. As a negotiating method, he began to avoid his classmates and, in his imagination, crossed out their features. A certain way, he could ignore their terrible insults.
Years later, Shouya embarks on a journey of atonement. He had considered suicide, but he chose against it. After his unsuccessful suicide attempt, he decided to go meet Shoko and return her notebook. Shoko is scared by him and attempts to flee, but Shouya pursues her and asks her in sign language whether she wants to be friends.
One of my favorite sequences is when Shoko attempts to commit while viewing a stunning fireworks display from the balcony. This is because I'm perplexed by the situation and don't understand why she wants to kill herself now, after so many occurrences in the past. Even now, I'm still working with it. It piques my interest and makes me wonder how well a person can conceal their emotions.
