MY FAVORITE MOVIE

 

        My favorite movie is MAZE RUNNER 2014 (Film series). The maze runner is a North American film trilogy. The genre of young adult Science fiction is dystopian, adventure, action, thriller, and solving a mystery. It's a film based on the maze runner novels by the north American author James Dashner. Its also produced by Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and distributed by 20th Century Fox. The movie has been grossing worldwide since its release date on 19 September 2014. 

   One of the reasons why this movie is my favorite is because of the strong main Protagonist in the movie 'Thomas'. Thomas is very smart and brave. The movie begins with Thomas who wakes up in the metal elevator that brings him to the glade not knowing where he is from or who he is and how he got there. A moment later he found out that every week the metal elevator go up to the surfaces from the underground with supplies, food, medicines, tools, and even weapon. He is also the last boy to get sent to the glade. 

  The glade also has been led by Alby and one of my second favorite main protagonists Newt who is the second charge of the glade. Long ago, Newt use to be a runner in their glade but no longer a runner since he's once throwing himself into the maze to attempt suicide so Alby decides to make him a second leader so he didn't run out to the maze. Newt is very kind and also very close with Thomas and Minho in the movie.

   Minho is the third favorite main protagonist in the movie. He is the keeper of the runners. He is in charge of navigating and mapping out the maze. In the glade, people called him the 'Asian Kid' with a strong and muscle shape body with short dark hair. He is sarcastic and a jokester. He tends to do stuff without thinking which leads him to a mess.

    The glade is surrounded by high walls made of concrete. The walls have an opening in them and the walls will shut close like doors every night. Outside the walls is the maze that is full of ivy on the walls and strange creatures known as grievers. The gladers are trying to survive by solving the mystery of the maze but the maze keeps changing every day so they appoint runners which is Minho and the other runners into the maze that fast enough to track the movement of the walls so they can find an exit to escapes.

      My favorite part of the movie is when a girl name Teressa got sent by the metal elevator from the underground into the glade. Everything got more challenging after she arrive. They're also a note saying 'she was the last one'. The glade drastically changes. People in the glades start acting strange, the sun disappeared, the weekly supplies stop coming and the opening of the maze walls didn't close at night which lures the grievers to hunt the gladers and some of them get killed.

    The next morning Thomas decided to solve the mystery of the maze and escape even though they will die if he and the glader meet a griever in the maze. Some of the people in the gladers didn't want to join them so the rest decided to stay there. As Thomas and the team walk through the maze they meet a griever and decided to kill it by luring it to the cliff. They found out that by killing the grievers they get a hint on how to escape the maze.

   Finally, Thomas and the rest of the gladers figure out the patterns of the maze and they decided to make a run to the exit. Right after they escape the maze they find out that they were a test subjects in an experiment conducted by the Organization called WICKED. 

   Overall, this movie has a nice Story, a Good plot, some plot twists, an emotional rollercoaster, an attractive cast, a Brainstormer, good characteristics, and character development. I enjoy this movie so much and I recommend it to people who like a sci-fi movies.
